LONDON (Alliance News) – Sealand Capital Galaxy Ltd said on Friday it intends to raise GBP1.2 million through a placing of 20.5 million shares at a price of 6.0 pence each.
The new shares represent a 4.2% stake in the company, and if the placing goes through, Sealand will have 494.1 million shares issued overall.
“This new placing has been filled by three investment companies who are excited by the strategy we have presented to them regarding the growth of the business. Our aim over the next few years is to become a leading internet-based mobile phone content business in the APAC region and beyond. The proposed acquisition of Rightyoo which we announced on July 26 is the first step in our vision to create a comprehensive and broad-reaching fintech group,” said Chairman and Chief Financial Officer Nelson Law.
Shares In Sealand Capital Galaxy were down 1.8% at 8.00 pence on Friday.
